Bulldogs? Texas A&M has attire issues
By JAMES CARR
The Texas A&M Aggies face many obstacles in joining the Southeastern Conference.
The differences on the field have been noted. Playing with a new coach and a new quarterback in a new conference is going to be tough. But despite being the new kids on the block, the Aggies seem to be having trouble fitting in.
To counter this, the Aggies released a video on Youtube.com called “Welcome to Our New SEC Family.” They shot several Aggie students doing the signature cheer for every school in the SEC while dressed in Texas A&M gear. Whether the video brought them closer to the SEC remains to be seen but it will hopefully be the last time any Aggies do the Gator chop.
Today, SECStore.com featured a new Texas A&M hat with “Bulldogs Football” written across the back. The mistake was duplicated in the description for the hat.
“Do it in official Aggies style with the 2012 Coaches Sideline flex hat from adidas. Featuring an embroidered school wordmark on the crown, embroidered “Bulldogs Football” lettering at the back and ClimaLITE fabric that conducts heat and sweat away from the body to keep you comfortable on warm game days, this cap will ensure that you’re dry and cool while you strategize about TAMU’s next move.”
It may be a long season for the Aggies, but at least they can stay cool during the dog days of summer.
