Matchday 27 highlights between RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.

ANNOUNCER: Bayern went into their Matchday 27 meeting with Leipzig knowing that the title wouldn't be wrapped up in Saxony. Sandro Wagner led the line tasked, however, with nudging the record champions a little closer.

Wagner is not a bad striker to rotate in for Robert Lewandowski. He'd scored in his previous two competitive matches and with the visitors first attempt on goal, Wagner struck again. 1-0 with just 12 minutes played. James Rodríguez with the pinpoint cross, just the type of opportunity that's meat and drink to Wagner.

But any thoughts that Leipzig would just roll over were quickly dispelled. Just a couple of minutes later and last season's runners up prised open the Bayern defense. Only quick thinking from Sven Ulreich to close down Yussuf Poulsen denied the Dane a fourth of the season.

The hosts dominated the chances in the first half and got the reward for their endeavors. Naby Keita exploited Bayern, unusually in disarray at the back and the result was a deserved equalizer for Leipzig. The Guinea international's fifth goal of the campaign.

It's safe to say it wasn't the first half Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness had expected. The second half was as absorbing as the first. [INAUDIBLE] Keita was involved in Leipzig's second. Timo Werner latched on to Keita's through ball and turned on the turbos. 2-1 to Leipzig.

The Keita-Werner connection continued to be effective. Leipzig had found the Bavarians' Achilles heel, pace and accuracy. The only thing missing in that mix was Werner's accuracy with the effort. It could have been a third.

The same fixture last season served up a 5-4 win for Bayern. This could have also had a dramatic finale, but it just wasn't to be for Bayern's Arturo Vidal. The victory is Leipzig's first over Bayern, who need to regroup. They turn their attention to Dortmund and potential title confirmation.
