Impact Osimhen will be out for the foreseeable future as the prognosis after the operation was significantly longer than what was originally anticipated. It is still possible he comes back a little earlier, speeding up the rehab in the later stages, but he will surely miss several fixtures. Napoli will have to lean on Dries Mertens and Andrea Petagna in the next few weeks.

He will spend the night at the hospital to be monitored, but the tests ruled out a head trauma. He will soon go under the knife to repair the fractures.
