Zlatan Ibrahimovic has repeatedly hinted he might play in Major League Soccer one day. This week, he reiterated his interest in potentially joining MLS at some point—while managing to compare himself to Napoleon.

In response to a question from a Swedish newspaper about his potential future in the United States, the Manchester United forward responded in the most Zlatan way possible.

“Lots of people stay in one place throughout their career, but I’ve traveled around like Napoleon, and conquered every new country where I’ve set foot,” Ibrahimovic told Aftonbladet, according to The Guardian. “So perhaps I should do what Napoleon didn’t and cross the Atlantic and conquer the States as well.”

Napoleon couldn't even get a designated player slot! Sad.

Ibrahimovic also said he could see himself “conquering the U.S. as I have with Europe.”

For now, Ibrahimovic will have to focus on conquering the Europa League. Manchester United plays Feyenoord on Thursday.
