The 10 bidders hoping to host the World Cup in 2018 or 2022 have launched their first campaign films in the gardens of a stately home.
The four-minute movies were screened back-to-back in a giant tent at a government residence in Cape Town on Friday, hours before the draw for the 2010 World Cup.
Bid ambassadors including David Beckham, Ruud Gullit and Luis Figo promoted their home nation candidacies.

Australia, England, Japan, Russia and the United States, plus joint bids from Spain-Portugal and Belgium-Netherlands, are competing to host in 2018 or 2022. Indonesia, Qatar and South Korea have bid only for 2022.
