Watch high school soccer player win state title with incredible long shot

Capturing a championship is likely a thrilling experience for any high school athlete, but winning a state title thanks to an incredible overtime highlight has got to be the rush of a lifetime.

The boys soccer team from Monson, MA got to experience that feeling over the weekend when senior captain Connor Hicks managed to deliver what we can only assume is one of the biggest (and most impressive) goals he'll ever score. Hicks blasted in a shot from long distance as the overtime period of the Division IV state championship wound down.

The amazing shot left the opposing team from Cohasset absolutely stunned. Monson went absolutely nuts on the field following the goal, as they should have -- it was their second consecutive state title.
