Vorskla says Arsenal game will go ahead in Kiev
UEFA ordered the game to be moved Tuesday to the capital city after the Ukrainian parliament voted to impose martial law in some regions of Ukraine, not including either Kiev or the original venue of Poltava.
Vorskla had said it didn’t have a guarantee the Olympic Stadium in Kiev could host the game. But fans with tickets from Poltava will be given reservations for sectors of in the stadium in the capital.
Martial law follows an incident Sunday in which Russian border guards fired on and seized three Ukrainian naval vessels in the Kerch Strait.
