Uruguayan coach’s wife hit with corrosive liquid

Police in the Uruguayan capital of Montevideo say the wife of

national soccer coach Oscar Tabarez was attacked with a corrosive

liquid that burned her face and arms.

Police spokesman Jose Luis Roldan says authorities have not

uncovered any clear motive or detained any suspects in the attack

Saturday on 61-year-old Silvia Martinez, whose condition was
