Trotters submit Premier League squad

Top flight clubs had until 5pm on Wednesday to get make their

selections for the first half of the 2010/11 campaign. They could

name up to 25 players, of which at least eight had to satisfy

‘home-grown’ criteria. Alongside the senior professionals called

upon, bosses are also able to use as many players under the age of

21 from within their ranks as they please. Bolton have a number of

players who fall into that category, but will be hoping their

experienced stars can do the business. Among those named by Coyle

are club captain Kevin Davies and midfield duo Mark Davies and Sean

Davis. Summer signings Robbie Blake, Martin Petrov and Ivan Klasnic

make the cut, as does USA international Stuart Holden. Back-up

keeper Ali Al Habsi is selected despite currently taking in a loan

spell at Wigan. Bolton squad: Robbie Blake, Adam Bogdan, Gary

Cahill, Tamir Cohen, Kevin Davies, Mark Davies, Sean Davis, Johan

Elmander, Ricardo Gardner, Stuart Holden, Jussi Jaaskelainen, Ivan

Klasnic, Zat Knight, Chung-Yong Lee, Fabrice Muamba, Andy O’Brien,

Joey O’Brien, Martin Petrov, Sam Ricketts, Paul Robinson, Jlloyd

Samuel, Gretar Steinsson, Matt Taylor, Ali Al-Habsi (on loan to

Wigan). (Bolton can also use: Marcos Alonso, Rodrigo, Danny Ward,

Tom Eaves, Tope Obadeyi and Robert Lainton).
