Sydney to host Kashima next month

Sydney will host Kashima Antlers in the Asian Champions League

on April 13 in a rescheduling caused by this month’s earthquake and

tsunami in Japan.

Kashima had been due to host Sydney on March 16 – five days

after the disaster – but that game was called off and instead will

be played in Sydney next month.

Sydney announced Monday that it originally scheduled home game

against Kashima on May 10 will now be played in Tokyo.

Sydney’s next game in the competition will be at home against

Shanghai Shenhua on April 6, when the Antlers will travel to South

Korea to play Suwon Bluewings.
