Striker Danijel Ljuboja joins Nice from Grenoble

Serbia striker Danijel Ljuboja has signed a one-year contract

with Nice after moving from second-tier club Grenoble.

Nice said it has the option of keeping the former Paris

Saint-Germain forward for another year if he is able to play on a

regular basis this season.

The 31-year-old Ljuboja replaces Loic Remy, who left the club

for Marseille for a reported ?15 million ($19 million).

Financial terms of Ljuboja’s transfer were not disclosed on

Tuesday but the deal is said to be worth ?300,000 ($380,000).

Grenoble was demoted to the second division at the end of last

season.
