Director: We want to keep Jovetic

have stressed that

target Stevan Jovetic will only be sold if a club meets their

€30million valuation.

Jovetic has been linked with a switch to Serie A champions

Juventus after their sporting director Beppe Marotta revealed his

desire to take the 22-year-old to Turin.

But Fiorentina sports director Daniele Prade has responded by

insisting that it would take a vast cash sum to prise the

Montenegro international away from the Viola.

“I spoke with the owners and they told me that the player is not

on the market,” Prade told Sky Sports Italia.

“But there is a gentlemen’s agreement and if someone makes an

offer for him close to 30million euro (£23.5m), without some

players in exchange, we can sit at a table and discuss.

“But we want to keep Jovetic.”

Prade’s chief focus appears to be bringing players to Fiorentina

not losing them, with the Italians linked with moves for AZ Alkmaar

midfielder Rasmus Elm and Palermo goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.

But Prade admits no deal is imminent and urged supporters of the

club to remain patient.

“Elm? He’s an important player but he has several offers.

“Viviano? The situation is on stand-by. We’ll talk with Inter

and Palermo (co-owners of the player), we have good relations with

them and we’ll find a solution.

“We will do something in the market. It will be a good

Fiorentina but it needs the fans to be patient.”
