Skepple leads Antigua past Haiti 1-0

Kerry Skepple scored in the 83rd minute and Antigua &

Barbuda beat Haiti 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier on Friday

night.

”Scoring goals is my job so once the coach put me put me on the

pitch the only expectation, once I get the opportunity, is to make

use of it,” Skepple said.

Antigua clinched a spot in the four-team semifinal group that

starts play in June and also includes the United States, Jamaica

and Guatemala. The top two nations from that group advance to the

six-nation final group that begins play in 2013.

Antigua plays Haiti again in Port-Au-Prince on Tuesday.
