Rwanda midfielder and former national team captain Patrick

Mafisango has died in a car crash in Tanzania. He was 32.

Mafisango’s death early Thursday morning was confirmed by his

Tanzanian club, Simba Sports Club.

survived the accident.

Mafisango had been selected in Rwanda’s squad for a World Cup
