Rovers reward Kean – Report

The claim is made in Thursday’s Daily Mirror. Despite the club’s

lowly league position – they are second from bottom in the table –

and the ongoing protests against his tenure on matchdays at Ewood

Park, it is claimed that Kean ‘has agreed a new contract and put

pen to paper which is likely to further infuriate upset fans.’ The

tabloid also declares that ‘Kean, 44, was already on a contract

until 2013 and the new deal is believed to give him better terms.’

Kean has recorded 10 wins from his 37 matches in charge of Rovers

so far.
