Robin van Persie has no chill, celebrates winning goal in former Arsenal teammate's face

Fenerbahce beat bitter rivals Besiktas 1-0 in the Istanbul derby on Sunday, with former Arsenal star Robin van Persie getting the only goal in a heated Turkish Cup round of 16 matchup. RvP left the match up a game-winner, but less a friend, following a heated run-in with old teammate Oguzhan Ozyakup.

First, van Persie was part of a clash that got Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic sent off, sparking outrage from the home supporters, and leading Tosic's wife to label van Persie a "stupid mother [expletive]" on social media after the match.

Van Persie wasn't done there though, and he kept stirring up the pot. He grabbed the winner for Fenerbahce in the 72nd minute and made a special point to go celebrate in former teammate Ozyakup's face, sliding on his knees directly in front of him to wind him up.

A Dutch native, Ozyakup came through the Arsenal youth ranks when van Persie was at the club, and had previously spoken positively of van Persie's efforts to help him settle in London. All that went out the window in the derby though, and it appeared the only thing RvP was interested in on Sunday was getting under Ozyakup and his teammates' skin.

And it seems to have worked. They won the game, but van Persie lost himself a friend in the process.

"I have a lot to say about the incidents on the field," Besiktas captain Ozyakup said after the match. "But I won't say them.

"Just one thing... I was very good friends with a certain player on the field. That changed today. Sometimes you see the real face of a footballer on the field."

Fried him.

Guess it's probably safe to say Ozyakup and van Persie won't be grabbing coffee to catch up on the old days any time soon.
