A member of the Brazilian soccer team that was killed in a tragic plane crash found out he was going to be a father just days ago. Thiaguinho, 22, was surprised by the news from his wife (via his Chapecoense teammates) in the past week before the crash, which claimed the lives of 71 people, occurred in Colombia. Heartbreaking video of Thiaguinho, whose real name is Tiago da Rocha Vieira, getting the news emerged following the tragedy.

His teammates, many of whom also perished in the crash, were in on the surprise. The video shows Thiaguinho seated in a hotel hallway where he's surprised by a gift and a card sent from his wife, Graziele, according to reports. After reading the note and finding out he's having a boy, Thiaguinho is overjoyed along with his friends, dancing and cheering in the halls of the hotel.

It's a beautiful moment made somber by Monday's tragedy, but a poignant tribute to the young player and his teammates.
