One of the nicest goals of the weekend (so far) might be this NASL volley

Yeah, there was a full slate of action overseas on Saturday. We got a beautiful Chelsea back-heel assisted goal, Lionel Messi's first goal back from injury, and a stunner from Tim Cahill. None of those were anything to sneeze at.

But one of the nicest goals of the weekend so far came on Friday night from the lower-tier NASL:

Oooh, baby. Jamie Chavez of Miami FC saw a long, lofted ball coming his way and decided to have a go, and have a go he did. Don't let the American football lines fool you — that was a world-class strike.

Unfortunately for Chavez, that strike wasn't enough as Miami FC had to settle for a 2-2 draw with the Tampa Bay Rowdies, but we can still enjoy the goal in all its glory on repeat.
