Motherwell v Dundee U preview

Motherwell defender Tim Clancy completes his two-match suspension

in the clash. Midfielder Stephen Hughes is pushing for a place on

the bench after playing another reserve game. Striker Bob McHugh

has recovered from his ankle injury but is short of match fitness,

while Steven Saunders and Lee Hollis remain out. Dundee United will

have defender Sean Dillon available. The Irishman has played two

behind-closed-doors friendlies since coming back from a calf injury

so is pushing for a place in Peter Houston’s squad. Midfielder

Stuart Armstrong is a doubt with an ankle problem and if he misses

out he will join long-term absentees Danny Swanson (knee) – also a

midfielder – and utility man Scott Severin (broken leg) in the

stand. Motherwell (from): Randolph, Hateley, Hammell, Craigan,
