Manchester City are assessing David Silva’s ankle injury amid fears he could miss the Premier League title run-in.
Silva was stretchered off during the second half of Monday’s 3-1 win over West Brom after appearing to suffer a recurrence of a recent problem and is now a doubt to feature in the club’s final four games of the season.
His premature exit soured a businesslike victory that keeps Manuel Pellegrini’s side in touch with leaders Liverpool, sitting six points behind with a game in hand.

"We will see tomorrow (Tuesday) what has happened," Pellegrini said.
"David played the last three games with pain in his ankle and that is why it wasn’t possible for him to play against Sunderland (last week).
