Liverpool’s team sheet will be full of options, as Klopp has given fitness updates of his squad without too much to report.

“The players involved in the last game are until now all ready again plus Dejan (Lovren). Not the others, for example Emre (Can). Emre’s not injured anymore, that’s good, but he needs to train, that’s how it is,” said Klopp, via Liverpool Echo. “(Can) had a difficult pre-season with coming in later than most of the other players (due to Euro 2016). Then he had a bit of an injury, it’s not the best moment until now. He’s still a wonderful player but we have to make him fit. That’s what we do with him, that’s what we do with Mama (Sakho). Loris (Karius) is training a week now so all good.”

Klopp also had public words for Daniel Sturridge: Stay greedy.

“Staying greedy. The movements were brilliant,” said Klopp, via Liverpool Echo. “Daniel was involved in three or four goals. For the first one, it was a brilliant run. Roberto (Firmino) can make exactly the same run but if Daniel hadn’t made that run he wouldn’t have been free. Being that flexible is the key for all games. We had other times when Leicester had six or seven players around the box and we still found a solution. That’s what you have to create. All games are different. Leicester give you a lot of questions and their counter-attacking game is outstanding. You need to be even quicker in your mind than with your legs.”
