Let’s give it our all, says Henry

The Black Country outfit are currently bottom of the table,

although they have a game in hand on their rivals as their weekend

clash was postponed due to the FA Cup. Wolves host Fulham on

Saturday and Henry is keen to repay the fans’ support for the team

by helping the club bank the points against the Cottagers. Henry

does not want the season to end with the players feeling as though

they could have tried harder, so he will be going all out between

now and the summer to help Wolves stay up. “The supporters have

been behind us all the way and I’m sure they know we need them more

than ever for the last six games,” he told the club’s official

website. “We all need to be together. “We’re all working our socks

off every day in training with the gaffer and ‘TC’ to do everything

we can to prepare for what’s ahead. “We’re in a position which

no-one wants to be in but we are here – we’ve got to deal with it –

and show our character as players and individuals and as a team. “I

have to say I look at the situation and think that 10 times out of

10 we’ve got what it takes to get the wins we need to get out of

the position we are in. We’ve got to go out there and prove it. “We

don’t want to be looking back at the end of the season with any

regrets – the chance is there for us now and we’ve got a good

enough team to do it. “We’ve had two big disappointments over the

last two games but we’ve got to bounce back again for these last

six games. They are all winnable in my eyes and we still need to

meet our target of getting three wins from the six. “Anything less

than that and it might not be enough to keep us up. We want to get

those points on the board as quickly as possible.”
