Juventus takes on Lazio in Coppa Italia final eyeing first trophy on treble quest

Juventus is hoping to become the second Italian team to win the treble–domestic league title, domestic cup and European cup–after Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan did so in 2010, and the first item on its checklist is up for grabs on Wednesday.

Juventus takes on Lazio in the Coppa Italia final, looking to lift the trophy days before it can put the finishing touches on a sixth straight Serie A title. Juventus has won the domestic cup a record 11 times and will be aiming to add to that mark with what would be a third straight triumph in the competition. Lazio's last Coppa Italia title came in 2013, though it fell short at the final hurdle against Juventus two years ago.

Juventus swept the season series in Serie A, winning 1-0 in August and 2-0 in January.
