Borussia Dortmund’s club motto "Echte Liebe" means "True Love," and there’s really no other way to describe the club’s relationship with Jurgen Klopp, who managed the club one last time at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.
While Dortmund still have the German Cup final left to play against Wolfsburg in Berlin next weekend, emotions still ran high on the final matchday of the Bundesliga season as the beloved coach said his good-byes. This was the scene before the game:

Fittingly, Saturday provided a happy ending, too.
Dortmund beat Bremen 3-2 to clinch a Europa League berth on the final day. That, after starting the second half of the season in dead-last! Yes, It was a tremendously difficult season for BVB, but the way Klopp managed to steer his side from rock bottom into the European places was nothing short of extraordinary.
After the victory, Dortmund’s Twitter account also posted a good-bye message pre-recorded by Klopp, in which he thanked everyone at the club, wished them well, and guaranteed that he’ll see everyone again, somehow, in the future. Here it is for the German speakers amongst you:
