Jamaica beats Grenada 4-0 in Gold Cup
Jamaica recorded its biggest ever win in a CONCACAF Gold Cup
game, beating Grenada 4-0 on Monday.
Luton Shelton, Ryan Johnson, Demar Phillips and Keammar Daley
all scored in a game the Reggae Boyz dominated, to the extent that
goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts did not need to make a save.
Shelton, of Norwegian club Valerenga, scored in the 21st minute
after collecting Rodolph Austin’s pass from the left.
Johnson, who plays for the San Jose Earthquakes, scored in the
Phillips, another of several Jamaicans based in Norway, made it
3-0 in the 79th minute and Daley drove in a 23-yard shot in the
