Ipswich are without Frank Nouble but welcome back Richard

Stearman for Saturday’s Championship clash with Bolton at Portman


Nouble made his first start for Town in last weekend’s goalless

draw at Peterborough but has sustained a slight hamstring injury in

training this week and will not be involved against Wanderers.

Nouble came in at London Road for Michael Chopra, who will hope

to have recovered from a dead leg to play.

Defender Stearman is back having completed his one-match ban

against Posh but winger Lee Martin serves the second game of his

three-match suspension and continues to miss out.

Skipper Carlos Edwards was deemed fit enough for a place on the

bench against Peterborough following a groin injury and he will

also be hoping for a starting berth.

Bolton could welcome back Adam Bogdan.

The goalkeeper has missed Wanderers’ last two matches with a

groin injury but boss Dougie Freedman has revealed the Hungary

international is back in training.

A place on the bench may have to suffice, as former Preston and

Leeds keeper Andy Lonergan has impressed with back-to-back clean

sheets in the 1-0 home victories over Blackburn and Brighton.
