Groningen trial for Adorjan
FC Groningen have announced that Liverpool youngster Krisztian
Adorjan is to spend a week on trial with the Eredivisie club.
The Hungarian midfielder has been at Anfield since making the
move from MTK Budapest in 2009 but has yet to make his first-team
debut for the Reds.
He is still only 20 and is regarded as an exciting prospect for
the future, having scored 12 goals in 31 games for Liverpool’s
Under 21 side last season.
Adorjan has now been given the opportunity to impress Groningen
and will train with the Dutch club over the next few days.
It is not known whether Groningen, who came seventh in the
Eredivisie last season, are interested in taking Adorjan on a loan
deal or permanently.
