Fulham earns 0-0 draw at West Brom

A superb double save by goalkeeper Ben Foster earned West

Bromwich Albion a 0-0 draw with Fulham at the Hawthorns on

Saturday.

Fulham dominated the first half and Patjim Kasami had the ball

in the net after 12 minutes, pouncing on the loose ball after

Foster spilled a low shot from U.S. international Clint Dempsey.

However, the strike was ruled out for offside.

Fulham was unlucky again when a volley from Dempsey was

deflected by defender Jonas Olsson onto the crossbar soon after the

restart.

But West Brom was denied in the 75th minute when Foster first

blocked a fiercely driven free-kick by John Arne Riise and was then

up quickly to turn the follow-up effort from substitute Bryan Ruiz

onto the post.
