English soccer team unveils delicious, sausage-themed jerseys

At long last, the Spanish lower leagues’ food-themed soccer kit monopoly has been broken.

After we’ve seen ham jerseys, broccoli jerseys, straw- and blueberry jerseys, and even beer jerseys spring up in Spain the last few years, the trend now appears to have reached England, where amateur club Bedale AFC proudly unveiled their brand-new sausage jerseys recently.

On the heels of signing a new sponsorship deal with local sausage producers Heck, Bedale will now wear a hot dog covered shirt to go with their pink shorts and socks. It’s all rather tasty.

If those delicious new threads won’t whet Bedale fans’ appetite to watch their team, nothing will. On the flip side, opponents are now able to call Bedale a bunch of wieners and it wouldn’t even be an insult. Everybody wins!
