England-Sweden game at Euros delayed by 15 minutes

UEFA says the start of game between England and Sweden has been

delayed by 15 minutes because of the rain delay during the

France-Ukraine match at the European Championship.

Friday’s kickoff will now be at 10 p.m. local time (1900 GMT)

after the other Group D match in Donetsk was suspended for nearly

an hour because of a thunderstorm.

A torrential downpour and lightning forced the players off the

field, but the game was eventually restarted.

England drew its first game 1-1 with France while Sweden lost

2-1 to Ukraine.
