Venezuela and Colombia each have four points in regional qualifying, though Venezuela has played three matches and Colombia only two.
Colombia will be at home on Tuesday against Argentina, and Venezuela hosts Bolivia.
”Three points got away from us, but now we have to think about Argentina,” Colombia forward James Rodriguez said. ”The result does leave a bitter taste.”
