Chelsea’s Ancelotti interested in coaching England

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is interested in taking charge

of England in the future.

Ancelotti’s contract with the Premier League champions expires

in 2012 – just when fellow Italian Fabio Capello is due to step

down as England coach after the European Championship.

Asked about the possibility of taking the England job, the

51-year-old Ancelotti said: ”I would like to do it in the future,

to have this kind of experience. I have never been the coach of a

national team.”

Ancelotti has quickly adapted to English football, leading

Chelsea to the Premier League and FA Cup titles in May at the end

of his first season at Stamford Bridge.
