Neuer, Klose and Reus rejoin Germany squad

Manuel Neuer, Miroslav Klose and Marco Reus have joined the

Germany squad for Tuesday’s friendly with the Netherlands as Marcel

Schmelzer dropped out.

The German Football Federation (DFB) says Borussia Dortmund

defender Schmelzer is ruled out with a calf strain.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Neuer, Lazio striker Klose and Borussia

Moenchengladbach midfielder Reus joined the squad in Hamburg on

Saturday.

Neuer was rested for Friday’s 3-3 friendly draw in Ukraine,

while Klose and Reus recovered from a sore knee and illness

respectively.

All three were to take part in light training on Saturday

evening.
