The agent of Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber has played down rumors linking him with a move to Juventus.

The 24-year-old center-back has not featured in the Bundesliga since suffering a cruciate ligament injury in December 2012 and it is anticipated he will return in time for next season.

Badstuber has three years remaining on his deal at the Allianz Arena and he has been given reassurances that he has a future with the club upon his return from injury.

Juventus were among the sides reported to be keen on the Germany international, but agent Robert Schneider was quick to dismiss the suggestions of a switch to Serie A.

"I cannot confirm these rumours and I don’t even know where they come from," he told calciomercato.it.

"His situation is simple – Holger is a Bayern Munich player with a long contract and the Bavarian club considers him not for sale."
