Valencia has unveiled new midfielder Enzo Perez after the Argentina international completed his transfer from Portuguese club Benfica.

Valencia unveiled Perez on Friday in front of thousands of fans at Mestalla Stadium, three days after announcing his transfer.

The 28-year-old Perez helped Argentina reach the final of the World Cup last summer.

Perez says he agreed to join Valencia during the summer, thanking ”the board and (owner Peter) Lim for believing in me and for waiting these six months.”

Valencia hosts Spanish league leader Real Madrid on Sunday. Valencia is in fourth place after 16 of 38 rounds.
