Ancelotti planning his return

The Italian has been out of work since leaving Chelsea at the end

of last season. He spent two years at Stamford Bridge, claiming a

Premier League and FA Cup double during his first season with the

Blues. Chelsea ended his second campaign empty-handed, though, and

owner Roman Abramovich is not a man to accept failure. Ancelotti

was, rather unfortunately, shown the door and has found himself on

the sidelines for the start of the 2011/12 campaign. He is,

however, available and waiting for the right offer to come along,

with the knowledge he has picked up during spells at Juventus, AC

Milan and Chelsea ready to be put to good use. Ancelotti admits he

would prefer to remain in England, but concedes that he is open to

offers from abroad should no Premier League position materialise.

“I would like to,” he told Sky Sports News when asked if he is

still hoping to secure another post in England. “We will have to

wait and see. I am using this time to improve my knowledge. I will

wait. “I would like to stay here, but if it is not possible I will

find another solution outside of this country.”
