Alex Song is on the bench for Cameroon’s World Cup opener

against Japan.

Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen also went with Hamidou Souleymanou

in goal Monday instead of Carlos Kameni.

Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o leads the Cameroon attack,

along with Achille Webo.

There were no surprises in the Japan lineup, with Keisuke Honda

and Yoshito Okubo leading the attack and captain Makoto Hasebe

anchoring the midfield.
