Adebayor slates African Cup semifinal field

Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor says the field that will host a

semifinal match at the African Cup of Nations is ”a disgrace” and

embarrassing for the continent.

Adebayor says the sandy surface at Mbombela Stadium badly

undermines African football and will lead people in Europe to think

the teams are playing ”in the bush.”
