Transfers to LAFC Palencia has signed a two-year contract with LAFC with the option to add on another one after transferring from St. Etienne, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Palencia recorded three assists in 25 Ligue 1 appearances (22 starts) at right-back for Bordeaux in 2018/19, but he's mostly played in the second tiers of Spain and France with Leganes and St. Etienne, respectively, ever since. The 26-year-old former Barcelona academy player is now moving to MLS with reigning champions LAFC, where he can replace the departed Franco Escobar as cover for Ryan Hollingshead and Diego Palacios in the full-back positions.
