Impact O'Brien started at right-back, shifted from his recent centre-back role after the return from injury of Michael Keane, and delivered a steady defensive performance in Everton's backline. He contributed going forward from set pieces, most notably on the third goal when he reacted first to Matz Sels' glancing punch from a corner and knocked the ball back into Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's path for the 80th-minute final goal, being also his first assist of the season in the Premier League. Off the ball he tracked runners diligently and helped protect the flank as Forest pushed more bodies forward. O'Brien has created three chances in the last two games while he created three chances in the first 13 games of the season in the Premier League, a new aspect of his game that could be a nice addition for the Toffees.

Iliman Ndiaye - Provides assist in victory Ndiaye assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-0 victory versus Nottingham Forest.
Impact Ndiaye was lively on the right from the start, and his best action came deep in first half stoppage time when he sprang a turnover from Omari Hutchinson's loose touch and drove at a retreating defense before sliding the perfect pass left for Thierno Barry's goal. In the second half, he remained Everton's main outlet, cutting inside to draw a fingertip save from Matz Sels late on. His defensive work rate also has been sensational this season, as he already contributed to 35 tackles in 15 appearances, placing him among the best forwards of Premier League in that area.

Thierno Barry - Scores first goal this season Barry scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 57th minute.
Impact Barry finally got off the mark for Everton in first half stoppage time, finishing a three on one break by stroking Iliman Ndiaye's unselfish pass into the far corner to give a two goal lead to the Toffees. Earlier he had intercepted a poor Neco Williams back pass, helping create a chance that led to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's shot. His pressing and running in behind helped Everton maintain threat in transition even when Forest had more of the ball. Barry has struggled a lot this season in the final third, having targeted only two of his 16 shots in 15 appearances, one being his first goal of the season, showing how difficult it is to adapt to the Premier League.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Scores goal in win Dewsbury-Hall scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal), three crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.
Impact Dewsbury-Hall set the tone after barely 90 seconds, driving to the byline and smashing a cross that deflected off Nikola Milenkovic for the 1-0 own goal. He saw a 20-yard strike pushed away by Matz Sels before capping his performance in the 80th minute when he scored the third goal after Jake O'Brien knocked a loose ball back into his path from a corner. Dewsbury-Hall is in a decent form for the Toffees, having contributed three goals and one assist in his last five appearances.

Jordan Pickford - Keeps cleansheet in victory Pickford recorded two saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.
Impact Pickford recorded a shutout with two saves and a series of confident claims under Forest's aerial pressure. His best work came late in the first half when he smothered Morgan Gibbs-White's driven cross and then pushed away a low effort from Elliot Anderson. One tentative punch from a Callum Hudson-Odoi cross led to a scramble that James Tarkowski cleared on the line, but otherwise he controlled his box well. Pickford is in a very good form since he made 17 saves in the last five games, securing four cleansheets in the span. The goalie will look to add another one on his tally in Saturday's clash against Chelsea.

Matz Sels - Concedes three in loss Sels recorded three saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Everton.
Impact Sels made three saves in Saturday's large defeat against Everton, including a strong parry from a bouncing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall drive in the first half. He could do little on the opener, which deflected off Nikola Milenkovic from close range, or on Thierno Barry's clean finish at the end of a three-on-one break. The scoreline looks harsh on a keeper who repeatedly kept Forest from a heavier loss. Sels conceded five goals in the last three games and will look to rebound against Tottenham on Sunday.
