Still not with team Van der Water has yet to arrive to Orlando following his transfer to the club back in February, according to manager Oscar Pareja.
Impact This clearly isn't a good sign for Van der Water's prospects in the opener in two weeks. He'll likely need at least a week of full training with the club before being given minutes in the first team, which means he needs to join the team soon or he may not be an option for the first couple matches.

Impact Moutinho underwent hip surgery in December of 2020 and will need a full six months to properly recover. Kyle Smith appears to be the only option to replace Moutinho at left-back, so a new player may be acquired by the time the regular season begins.

Impact Van der Water has scored 10 goals and logged seven assists over the past two seasons, which have been his first with steady minutes in a top league. As a versatile winger, van der Water gives his new club something they haven't been able to steadily rely on with capable depth in their attacking group. However, both Nani and Chris Mueller were prolific on the wings in 2020 with 19 goals and 11 assists combined. With this in mind, van Der Water does more to boost the depth behind an aging Nani and add an extra attacker until Daryl Dike returns.

Impact Pato is best known for his time spent with AC Milan but has also played for a host of other top teams. Injuries stunted his initial trajectory but he's now a veteran player with a proven track record who most recently scored five goals in 20 appearances with Sao Paulo FC before leaving the club in August of 2020. In a new league and country, Pato will join Nani as the other big-name star in the Lions' attack while also providing support to Daryl Dike when he returns from his loan to Barnsley.

Impact Suarez has yet to establish himself at the highest levels as he's mostly played with reserve sides and second division teams so far. Impact Carlos made 24 appearances from 26 starts in 2020 as Orlando made their deepest progression into the postseason in their short history. He also ranked second in the league in interceptions and third in clearances, which are more than enough to keep him in this team beyond the end of his loan.

Undergoes surgery Moutinho successfully underwent hip surgery on Tuesday and is expected to miss four-to-six months, his club announced Wednesday.
Impact Moutinho will probably miss the start of next season as a result of this injury, which he suffered at the beginning of September. Kamal Miller and Kyle Smith will take up minutes at left-back while Moutinho is out.
