Theo Corbeanu - Scores goal Corbeanu logged one goal, eight crosses (three accurate) and five chances created during Toronto FC's 2-1 loss Saturday at D.C. United.
Impact Corbeanu has regularly played for Toronto since his return, with four appearances and two starts. He logged his second start Saturday and got on the scoresheet by taking advantage of a previously saved shot by goalkeeper Sean Johnson. It looks like Corbeanu will be a regular rotation player for Toronto as long as he stays healthy.

Djordje Mihailovic - Four shots as reserve Mihailovic recorded four shots (two on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 2-1 loss versus D.C. United.
Impact Mihailovic has logged three reserve appearances this season, with Saturday marking his latest. He has made more of an impact than the average sub, with five shots (three on goal), four crosses (three accurate) and three corners across his three sub appearances. Mihailovic also logged Toronto's team-high in shots Saturday. Considering that Mihailovic was a regular starter before an injury took a toll on his availability, there may be a chance he gets promoted if the Toronto team continues its struggles while he exceeds substitute expectations.

Alonso Coello - Reserve with five crosses Coello registered two shots (zero on goal), five crosses (one accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against D.C. United.
Impact For only the third time this season, Coello came off the reserves, but unlike the other two times, he was highly active Saturday. In all but one of his last nine appearances, Coello has attempted at least five crosses, generating a total of two assists across the nine games.

Luka Gavran - Six saves, two goals conceded Gavran made six saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 loss versus D.C. United.
Impact For only the second time this season, Gavran logged more than six saves. After back-to-back clean sheets since the return of the MLS, he conceded multiple goals, though one of them was a last-minute penalty to Tai Baribo. Perhaps his most recent goals conceded should not be an indicator of how he will deliver post-July, but Gavran's previous inconsistency and recent form's vast difference do not make him a top option just yet.

Tai Baribo - Hero against Toronto Baribo scored one goal on two shots (one on goal) during D.C. United's 2-1 win Saturday against Toronto FC.
Impact Toronto conceded a last-minute penalty because Jackson Gilman fouled Andre Dozzell of D.C. United. Baribo attempted the spot-kick and scored. Between back-to-back seasons, he has logged double-digit goals as part of different teams, DC and the Philadelphia Union. Ideally for him, unlike his 2025 season, Baribo can maintain a steadier pace. That year, after logging 10 goals in 12 games, he scored eight across 20 appearances.
JULY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Keisuke Kurokawa - Corner to assist Kurokawa assisted once to go with 10 crosses (three accurate) and six corners in Saturday's 2-1 win versus Toronto FC.
Impact Being the D.C. team's primary corner taker is paying off for Kurokawa, who connected with his fellow defender Kye Rowles to log his fourth assist across 2026. Impressively, Kurokawa has recorded four assists in his last eight appearances, meaning he is on a great run of form that assures he is among the MLS' best attacking-minded defenders.
JULY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Sean Johnson - Six saves, one goal conceded Johnson recorded six saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Toronto FC.
Impact For only the second time in 2026, Johnson logged more than six saves, the first time occurring back on March 1. Unfortunately for the goalkeeper, even with his recent excellence, he has yet to log a clean sheet since May 3, making it six consecutive appearances.
