Impact Scally truly broke out with Gladbach in 2021/22, the left-back was a fixture in the starting XI for the first half of the season before being replaced by Luca Netz in the closing stages of the campaign. It's likely that Scally will continue to compete with Netz heading into the 2022/23 campaign, but the young American has the potential to win the starting job outright moving forward. Scally was good for 35 crosses and 18 chances created on the way to his three goal contributions.
