Check out the emotional final day at White Hart Lane as Spurs win, then say goodbye to their home
Sunday marked the final match that will ever be played at White Hart Lane. Tottenham's 118-year-old stadium is coming down to make way for a new ground, but before that, everyone got to give the Lane a great goodbye.

The entire day was about the Lane's farewell.

The entire season has been, really.

Everyone wanted something to remember the day.

They even wore special kits for the day.

The club handed out flags to everyone in attendance.

The fans waved them all match.

The match went Spurs' way too, with Victor Wanyama scoring the opener.

Harry Kane then added a second, for the final Tottenham goal at White Hart Lane.

The new stadium is being built next door, so you can see the cranes from the pitch.

Mauricio Pochettino's men pulled off a 2-1 win, capping an undefeated season at home. Spurs won 17 of their 19 matches at the Lane, drawing the other two in a magnificent final year at their old ground.

After the final whistle, the fans stormed the pitch.

Tottenham brought out some of the greatest players to ever take the field at the Lane in a post-match ceremony.

The fans sung for them all, as confetti fell.

The current Tottenham team, which has set a club record for points in a season, got their due too.

The rain even let up just long enough for a rainbow.

Now Tottenham get ready for a season at Wembley. Then, in August 2018, they will move into their new stadium, right next door to the Lane.
White Hart Lane has been an incredible home to Spurs, and it got a proper send off. But the future awaits.
