Rumor: Bayern Munich to Manchester City. // Likelihood: Not a chance. // The Talk: According to the Daily Mirror, Manuel Neuer is one of Pep Guardiola’s dream targets for Manchester City. The Spaniard is thought to be keen to invest in a goalkeeper who is good with his feet and can fit into his way of playing. However, when Guardiola was asked about the rumors, he said: "Manuel Neuer will be the goalkeeper at Bayern Munich for the next five, six, seven, eight or nine years. That's my hunch. I haven't asked him about this, I don't know what he thinks. But I think he could stay at Bayern Munich for the rest of his career."

Rumor: West Ham to Manchester City or Manchester United. // Likelihood: More likely at United. // The Talk: Manchester City are ready to rival Manchester United for West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna, according to The Times. The Hammers defender has been in impressive form this season and has helped the east London side up to fifth in the Premier League standings. United have struggled with injuries at the back this campaign and City’s defense hasn’t been the same when they’ve been without the influential Vincent Kompany. So with both sides being short of a defender, the Italy international could fit the bill.

Rumor: Napoli to Manchester United or Liverpool. // Likelihood: On his way. // The Talk: According to Spanish website Fichajes, Liverpool have entered the race for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. That was after Corriere Dello Sport reported that Manchester United are ready to spend £62million ($87.7million) on the 28-year-old.
