Rumor: Marseille to Chelsea // Likelihood: What will dad say? // The Talk: Imbula is the kind of player that belongs at Arsenal but it’s Chelsea who have been linked with the box-to-box midfielder. The Blues, on the cusp of winning the Premier League title, tried to sign him in 2013 apparently, but his father, who is also his agent, was unhappy with plans to loan him out for up to five years. So, it looks like Imbula will be movin’ on in the summer but will it be Chelsea? John Obi Mikel has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but watch out Chelsea because Juventus are also interested in Imbula, who has been compared to Patrick Vieira. Praise indeed.

Rumor: Marseille to Tottenham // Likelihood: You never know with Spurs // The Talk: Thauvin is the second Marseille player to be linked with a move to England. London loves the French, clearly! Spurs were rebuffed when they made a move for Thauvin in January but are willing to go back in again during the summer transfer window. Valencia have also been linked with Thauvin so a tug-of-war is looming.

Rumor: Lyon to Arsenal // Likelihood: Fits the bill // The Talk: Fekir fits the Arsenal mold perfectly. An attacking midfielder who can play as a striker. He’s been in great scoring form this season too -- 12 goals and nine assists at the last count and at just 21 he has time on his side to improve. Will he become another part of Wenger’s French revolution? Fekir himself has suggested he would be happy to stay at Lyon. The Gunners and Juventus will put that to the test in a bid to land their top man.

Rumor: Liverpool to New York Red Bulls // Likelihood: Possible // The Talk: The former Manchester City defender isn’t first choice at Liverpool and is out of contract in the summer but the Anfield hierarchy are still reportedly prepared to give the Cote d'Ivoire center-back a one-year deal. However, 34-year-old Toure might be set to take a look inside America after being offered a two-year contract by NY Red Bulls. Don’t rule this one out.

Rumor: Leaving Manchester City // Likelihood: Up in the air // The Talk: From one Toure to another. Yaya’s future at City remains a hot topic amongst rumormongers. The Ivorian was cheered off by City fans when replaced by Fernandinho during the 3-2 win against Aston Villa. The man himself has described PSG as a "great club" (which they aren’t) in a radio interview and his agent is moaning again that no-one has told him that Yaya remains part of City’s plans. When’s his birthday again? Hope that cake is being prepared! Manuel Pellegrini is sure that Toure is happy at City but we get the feeling he is out of time.

Rumor: Chelsea to PSG // Likelihood: Believe the hype // The Talk: We would be very surprised if Cech was still at Chelsea at the start of next season as he continues to sing on lonesome street about playing second fiddle to Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. PSG have apparently entered the bidding for the Czech Republic shot-stopper and we think this will be a nice fit for Cech, who has also been linked with Arsenal. Southampton are also in the frame but Cech will insist on being the number one goalkeeper wherever he ends up.

Rumor: Chelsea to Liverpool // Likelihood: Don’t believe it // The Talk: Hazard was crowned Professional Footballers’ Association player of the year on Sunday and will have probably helped Chelsea to a fourth Premier League title in 11 years by next weekend. The Belgium international is consistently linked with a move to Real Madrid, so is he on the way to the club? Jose Mourinho says it will take $300 million to pry him away from Stamford Bridge but when Hazard was asked if he was joining Real Madrid the 24-year-old winger simply said: “No, I’m staying.” Enough said ... for now.

Rumor: Real Madrid to Manchester United // Likelihood: The saga of the summer // The Talk: No matter how many people say Gareth Bale is staying at Real Madrid, including the man himself, the rumors of a summer move just won’t fade away. Carlo Ancelotti, who also been linked with the Bernabeu exit door, wants Bale to stay but the latest speculation suggests there is a three-way battle between the Manchester clubs and Chelsea to sign him. Our initial thoughts are that Chelsea and City would have to clear the decks to buy him while United generate enough income to get their man.

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez
Rumor: Manchester United to West Ham // Likelihood: Interesting times ahead // The Talk: It’s a fascinating time in the life of Chicharito. Viewed as the outsider at Manchester United his loan spell at the Bernabeu was also grinding to a halt until a week ago. Karim Benzema’s injury opened the door to the Mexican, who has taken his chance with both hands by firing Real Madrid into the Champions League semi-finals and then scoring a double at Celta Vigo. West Ham reportedly want Hernandez but Carlos Ancelotti expects Chicharito to play a major part in the title run-in. Could Real Madrid take up their $11.36 million option to buy him? Looks like good business at the moment, but Lazio, Valencia, Southampton amongst others are also interested should Los Blancos decide against a permanent move.

Rumor: PSV to the Premier League // Likelihood: Race is on // The Talk: The battle is on to sign the guy Dutch legend Ronald de Boer believes could be the new Cristiano Ronaldo. The Netherlands international has denied holding talks with Manchester United but it was thought he had flown into Liverpool at the weekend. Brendan Rodgers was coy when answering questions about his interest in Depay but did say he is "a very talented player." As For Depay, he wants to move to one of the "big European competitions" so let’s not rule out Spanish or German clubs getting involved.
