Real Madrid starting lineup
Keylor Navas; Dani Carvajal, Rafael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric; Isco, Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The big news for Real Madrid is Gareth Bale missing the start. He's been recovering from an injury for months and while there was some hope that he'd be able to start this match, it was always a stretch. Instead, he's on the bench.

Besides Bale being on the bench, it's shocking to see James Rodriguez not even make the squad. He's all but guaranteed to leave the club in the summer and was never a hugely important piece to this team, but it figured Zinedine Zidane would at least keep him as a bench option.
Juventus starting lineup
Gianluigi Buffon; Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli; Alex Sandro, Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira, Dani Alves; Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukić; Gonzalo Higuain.
Max Allegri's lineup isn't a surprise, as he goes with a skewed 4-2-3-1/3-5-2 formation incorporating Andrea Barzagli as the hybrid centerback/right back and leaving Juan Cuadrado on the bench. Juventus have been known for their back three lineup for the last few years, but it was their change to a 4-2-3-1 in the winter that really sparked their excellent play in 2017. They'll use a fluid combination of those two systems against Madrid.

Neto, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Mehdi Benatia, Kwadwo Asamoah, Claudio Marchisio, Mario Lemina, Juan Cuadrado.
Juventus will have the services of Claudio Marchisio and Juan Cuadrado off the bench, giving them two experienced and quality players to turn to if need be.
