The MLS playoffs are right around the corner. There is only one month left in the regular season and only four playoff spots have been claimed. That means there are eight left to be had, but six of them could go this weekend.

Already clinched
FC Dallas are already into the playoffs. They're the top team in MLS and look like a good bet to take thre Supporters' Shield. Toronto FC and the two New York teams -- the Red Bulls and NYCFC -- have clinched playoff spots out East too.

LA Galaxy
The Galaxy are tied for second in the West and can seal up a playoff spot with a win over Dallas on Saturday. They can also get in if they draw Dallas and the Timbers draw the Rapids. If the Timbers lose to the Rapids, it doesn't matter what the Galaxy do -- they're in.

Colorado Rapids
The Rapids are even with the Galaxy for second in the West, but they have two matches in hand so that's a pretty big leg up on LA. All they have to do is win or draw against the Timbers and they clinch a playoff spot. Then they can focus on seeding in the season's final month.

Real Salt Lake
RSL are pretty comfortably in a playoff spot, they just need to wrap things up now. If they beat the Earthquakes on Saturday and the Timbers lose to the Rapids, their playoff spot will be official.

Philadelphia Union
The Union have flown under the radar all season, but they could seal up a playoff spot out East on Saturday. If they beat the Red Bulls and the Revolution lose or draw against Sporting KC, they're in.

Montreal Impact
The Impact are in the same boat as the Union -- win their match (against Orlando City) and if the Revs lose or draw, they're going to the playoffs.

D.C. United
D.C. need to beat Toronto this weekend first, which is a tall task. If they can do that then they need the Revs to lose and Orlando City to lose or draw against the Impact. If all of that happens, they clinch a playoff spot.
