SEPTEMBER 23 • ROTOWIRE
Hauke Wahl - Signs extension Wahl signed an extension with St. Pauli, the club announced Monday.
Impact Wahl's new terms weren't made publicly available, as usual with St. Pauli, but this deal will keep him with the club past this season. The defender is the most important part of the starting XI and is now rewarded with a new contract. He's missed just two matches in the past two seasons with the club.
SEPTEMBER 22 • ROTOWIRE
Danel Sinani - Off injured Sinani was forced off with an apparent injury during the second half of Friday's clash with Stuttgart.
Impact Sinani was forced off late in the second half, with Connor Metcalfe coming on to replace him as part of the five-man midfield. Sinani is a key part of that unit and would be a major blow if sidelined as he's started all four matches to start the season. In those four matches he's been off to a career-year with two goals and one assist already matching his total from 26 matches last season.
SEPTEMBER 19 • ROTOWIRE
Ricky Jade-Jones - Training with ball Jones (shoulder) resumed running and a bit of training with the ball, coach Alexander Blessin said in the press conference.
Impact Jones is progressing well in his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury, as he was spotted running and doing some ball work. That said, the forward has yet to resume team training and is not nearing a return soon. Until he is fully fit, Andreas Hountondji is seeing increased playing time in the frontline.
SEPTEMBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Abdoulie Ceesay - Aiming return against Leverkusen Ceesay (foot) trained with the team on Wednesday and is aiming to return to the squad for the game against Leverkusen, coach Alexander Blessin said in the press conference.
Impact Ceesay trained for the first time with the team on Wednesday after recovering from a foot injury suffered following the season opener. The forward is expected to return to the squad for next week's fixture against Leverkusen if everything goes as planned, although he will likely hold a rotational role once fully fit.

Impact Mets has resumed team training with St. Pauli and is progressing well in his recovery from a knee injury, but he is not yet fit to feature for the club. His timeline for return remains uncertain as it will likely depend on his sensations in the coming weeks. That said, after almost a year out of action, the club will likely be cautious with him and gradually build his fitness before allowing him to reclaim his starting role at St. Pauli.

Impact Irvine has yet to play his first minutes for St. Pauli this season after returning from injury. The captain will have to wait longer since he is currently dealing with muscular problems and is ruled out for the time being. His timeline for return remains uncertain as the midfielder will likely be managed carefully moving forward and could continue to struggle with muscular issues after spending such a long time out of action. Until then, James Sands and Joel Chima Fujita are expected to pair in central midfield for St. Pauli.
SEPTEMBER 18 • ROTOWIRE

The defender was effective in the backline, contributing three tackles and six clearances while adding his first chance created of the season.

Impact Sinani decided the match in the 77th minute with a free kick that found the net, sealing St. Pauli's comeback. The strike was his second Bundesliga goal of the season and capped the hosts' second half pressure. The Luxembourg forward is in incredible form at the beginning of the season, having contributed two goals and one assist in three games, shooting seven times and creating eight chances in that span.

Impact Hountondji equalized right before halftime by tucking home the rebound after his penalty had been saved by Finn Dahmen. He led the line physically and contributed four shots, targeting three of them to apply pressure on the Augsburg defense. The forward put in a high work rate first half before being subbed off at halftime. Impact Vasilj conceded only Fabian Rieder's 16th minute header and finished with four saves as St. Pauli overturned the deficit. He was largely secure under minimal set-piece pressure with Augsburg earning just one corner, and the keeper commanded his box well during a nervy closing spell. Vasilj has now contributed 10 saves in three Bundesliga games with one clean sheet in that span, and he will aim for another one against Stuttgart on Friday.
SEPTEMBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Jackson Irvine - Fit Sunday Irvine (foot) is on the bench for Sunday's match against Augsburg.

SEPTEMBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Karol Mets - Trains, status unknown Mets (knee) is questionable for Sunday's match against Augsburg after training with the team, according to Hamburger Morgenpost.
Impact Mets started the week off by training with the club and seems to be inching towards a return, although the club is taking his return cautiously after he suffered a setback before. That said, he is a late call for the game, likely needing to pass some testing to be deemed fit. Even if he is fit, the club will want to be careful after his long layoff, possibly seeing a bench spot if deemed fit.

Impact Having Irvine back is a huge boost for St. Pauli, but the captain won't be starting and will wait for his opportunity on the bench. When fully healthy, though, Irvine should be one of the first names on St. Pauli's scoresheet on a regular basis.

SEPTEMBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
David Nemeth - Undergoes groin surgery Nemeth suffered a groin injury in training and has now undergone successful surgery on Wednesday, the club announced.
Impact Nemeth is out for the time being after undergoing groin surgery on Wednesday in Munich. The defender sustained the injury in training and will be sidelined for some time to recover. This is a big blow for St. Pauli since Nemeth is an undisputed starter in the backline when fit, with Eric Smith set to continue holding a deeper role in defense after ending last season as a central midfielder.
