Arthur Theate - Records one shot in loss Theate registered one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Impact Theate recorded one off target shot in Wednesday's loss, one of just four attempts his side managed to take in the loss. On the defensive end he added two interceptions, two clearances and one tackle in his full 90 minutes of action. Frankfurt's defense was very disappointing in this Champions League campaign where the club finished in 33rd place as the unit only kept one clean sheet and conceded 21 goals, tied for the second most in the competition.

Ansgar Knauff - Shut down versus Spurs Knauff recorded no stats in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Impact Knauff was completely shut out of Wednesday's final UCL group stage match, recording zero shots, chances created or crosses in the loss. It was a very disappointing UCL campaign for Frankfurt, though Knauff was one of the lone bright spots. He finished the group stage with two goals and one assist across eight appearances (seven starts). He will now put all of his focus into the Bundesliga as the club is currently on the outside looking in for a spot in Europe next season.

Aurelio Buta - One shot in rare start Buta had one shot (one on goal) and one cross (one accurate) in Wednesday's 2-0 loss versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Impact Buta made just his second start of the season (all competitions) Wednesday and just his second appearance in the Champions League. He recorded one shot on target, the only one his team managed in the match, and added one accurate cross on the attack. Considering this match was essentially meaningless for Frankfurt, Buta's inclusion in the starting XI is likely not a signal that he will see a significant increase in playing time moving forward.

Xavi Simons - Productive in Wednesday's win Simons had two shots (one on goal), six crosses (three accurate) and five corners in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Impact Simons had a very productive match Wednesday which is not too surprising given his previous success in the Bundesliga. He recorded a secondary assist as his cross in the 47th minute found Cristian Romero open in the box, who used a header to set up Randal Kolo Muani's opening goal. Simons also created three chances and recorded a season-high three accurate crosses in what was one of his best performances in a Spurs shirt so far.
